Ash Black, one of the main novelties that the firm will present at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta from May 8 to 11
More than 1,100 exhibitors from more than 40 countries will meet from May 8 to 11 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta (United States), on the occasion of the celebration of the most important international event for the ceramic sector in North America, Coverings’18, which will bring together thousands of architects, designers, builders, remodelers, manufacturers, installers, retailers and distributors. ITT Ceramic will be present at this international event with the fundamental objective of strengthening its position in the United States and showcasing its latest ceramic novelties. Currently, the United States is the second destination for exports of Tile of Spain and, as a country that is a clear exporter of ceramic tiles, it has an outstanding potential as a destination for sales of the Spanish tile industry. In fact, Spanish tile exports to the US reached 190 million euros in 2016 and the increase in sales was 28% over the previous year, consolidating as a solid and preferred market for ITT Ceramic. The data reaffirm this idea: in 2017, 1,200,000 new homes were started throughout the country, 2.4% more than in 2016 and, according to the Census Bureau of the United States Government, at present, the construction sector moves investments worth 1,231 billion dollars. Likewise, in 2017 the United States consumed 283 million square meters of ceramic materials, 5.1% more than in the previous year. In this context, the US market is consolidated as one of the priority objectives in the ITT Ceramic international expansion strategy. For this reason, the novelties that the company will present in its space of Coverings’18 (booth 3563) are oriented to fully satisfy the requirements of this market, both in terms of aesthetic, technical and functional features.
